So I was in Cardiff yesterday and these guys came marching down the middle of the street followed by a full band. They are ‘Goat Majors’ says the internet. Wales is weird, man.

We’ve set up a group for people in Cardiff who want to play football but don’t have the necessary skill or fitness levels.
It’s about the important things: jumpers for goal posts, oranges at half time, not keeping score and aching for days afterwards.
And we’ve had bloody exceptional fun. If you fancy a kick about, join this here Facebook group
This sounds amazing, I’m so coming along!

Saw Florence + the Machine in Cardiff last night. It was like watching a butterfly on stage, flitting around amongst the beams of light. Florence just seems so opaque, delicate and beautiful. The gig was incredible, like she said it was like “our own little mini festival”. It all seemed so surreal: her voice, the ornaments on stage, the backdrops, the smell of grass lingering in the night air - and Florence’s presence was simply enchanting to watch.

Roath Park Rec.
I’ve had many a meander through there.
Only one game of football though, and I didn’t even join in. I just watched.
I didn’t even watch for very long. I started reading a book.

I WANT TO GO BACK.
I loved that trip so much!
From the sheep on the way there and the welshman laughing at us and cate and her “testies” on her mp3 player :’)
and emma on the phone and her turning round and there being a man casually shaving his bum on the TV :)
and walking round the open day feeling like the smallest people ever!
and eating sooo much food but not even caring :’)
and the hotel receptionist thinking we were auditioning for the x factor and the welsh chavs on the bus XD and hiding the spare towel from cate and dying of laughter even though she knew we had the towel anyway and me and emma walking into the restaurant and just casually looking at the breakfast menue even though it was like half 12 in the evening :P
and there being so many bloody trains to barry island but none to where we wanted to go
and emma and me being chavs and walking round cardiff central going “eee! fuckin’ ell kidda!” and me going “cate! join the fuck in!” and not realising what sounded like
and emmas crisp and my waffle and playing pictionary on the way home and cate killing it by putting it in the bin and emma going “go fast and deep!” not realising what she said :’)

A dedicated graffiti and street art gallery is opening, allowing creators to display and sell their work. The Boiler House in Cardiff will also stage regular workshops for the public to have a go. (via Gallery for graffiti artists - CreativeWales)
